A: No. DeciCheck works 100% offline. All audio processing happens on-device. Fully functions in airplane mode.

A: The microphone is required to measure ambient sound pressure levels in real time — this is the app's core function. Audio is analyzed live on-device and is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere.

Q: My readings seem inaccurate. How do I calibrate? / 测量读数似乎不准确，如何校准？
A: iPhone microphones are not factory-calibrated for sound pressure measurement. Use the calibration offset slider in Settings to adjust readings against a known reference (a professional SPL meter, or a sound level test tone of known dB value).

A: In the Sessions tab, tap any saved session to open the detail view. Tap the export icon to share as CSV (timestamped data) or PDF (formatted report with chart and stats).
