Sidao Privacy Policy

Sidao (“we,” “us,” or “our”) takes the protection of your personal information and privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and delete your personal information when you use the Sidao app and related services.​

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using our services. By tapping “Agree and Continue” or continuing to use the service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to this Privacy Policy.​

Information We Collect​

1.1 Account Information

To provide login, account management, and service-entitlement features, we may collect:​

•
Apple Sign In: the unique user identifier provided by Apple;​

•
Email Sign In: your email address and login verification result;​

•
Account Information: user ID, nickname, login method, account balance (“Hearts”), and necessary account-status information.​

1.2 Transaction Information

When you purchase in-app items or services, we process order IDs, transaction status, product information, and necessary payment-verification information to verify transactions, grant account entitlements, process refunds, and prevent fraud.​

We do not directly collect or store your bank-card number, payment password, or complete payment-account information. Payments are processed by Apple App Store.​

1.3 Conversations, Images, and Media Content

When you voluntarily use relevant features, we may process content you provide, including:​

•
text messages you send to AI characters;​

•
images you voluntarily select or send;​

•
text generated when you voluntarily use voice input;​

•
images, videos, and related prompts that you voluntarily request to generate.​

We do not access your entire photo library, contacts, precise location, or other device data unrelated to our services. We access an image only when you voluntarily select, send, or use it through a relevant feature.​

1.4 Images Containing Faces and On-Device Face Detection

Custom portraits, couple-photo reference images, image messages, and other images you voluntarily select may contain faces.​

For custom portraits and couple-photo reference images, the app uses Apple Vision on your device for temporary face detection. This is solely used to check whether an image contains one clear face and to improve image-generation quality.​

We do not:

•
collect or store Face ID data;​

•
create or store facial templates, face embeddings, facial-recognition profiles, or other biometric identifiers;​

•
use facial information to identify your real-world identity;​

•
use facial information for advertising, profiling, identity verification, or training our own AI models;​

•
retain on-device face-detection results.​

How We Use Information​

We use your information only as necessary to provide and improve our services, including to:​

•
provide account login, account management, purchase verification, and account entitlements;​

•
generate AI conversation responses;​

•
generate AI images or videos that you voluntarily request;​

•
use reference images you voluntarily provide to improve consistency in generated images or videos;​

•
retain chat history, memories, reminders, and media content that you choose to keep on your device;​

•
maintain service security, troubleshoot issues, process duplicate requests, prevent fraud, and handle user feedback;​

•
comply with legal and regulatory obligations.​

AI Services and Processing of Images and Face-Related Information​

3.1 AI Conversation Processing

To generate AI responses, text messages you voluntarily send are transmitted through HTTPS to our backend server and forwarded to AI services provided by Volcengine Ark (“Volcengine”) for processing.​

Our backend server acts only as a service-request intermediary and does not store the original text messages you send as cloud chat history.​

3.2 Images, Face-Related Images, and Generation Services

When you voluntarily use custom portraits, couple photos, image messages, AI image generation, or AI video generation:​

•
images you submit may contain faces;​

•
images are used only to display your selected custom portrait, process image messages you voluntarily send, or generate AI images and videos that you request;​

•
to complete your request, images are transmitted through HTTPS to our backend server and forwarded to Volcengine Ark for processing;​

•
our server does not write original input images to its database, file storage, or business logs;​

•
we do not use these images for facial recognition, identity verification, advertising, profiling, or training our own AI models.​

Couple-photo reference images are used only for the generation request you initiate and are not stored by us as standalone long-term server files.​
