Overview
Slipfile is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app operates entirely on your device — no data is ever collected, transmitted, or shared with anyone, including the developer.

Camera and Photo Library
Slipfile requests camera access to scan receipts and photo library access to import existing receipt photos. All image processing (text recognition, field extraction) happens locally on your device using on-device frameworks. Images and extracted data are never uploaded to any server.
Data Storage
All receipt data is stored locally in the app's private sandbox on your device. App preferences (e.g., default currency, appearance setting) are stored in iOS UserDefaults and only accessible to Slipfile itself.
Data Sharing
We do not share any data, because we do not collect any data. If you choose to export receipts (e.g., as CSV, PDF, or encrypted backup), the resulting file is created on your device and shared only through your explicit action via iOS share sheet.
Third-Party Services
Slipfile does not integrate any third-party SDK, analytics framework, advertising network, or external service. The app makes no network requests.
Children's Privacy
Slipfile does not collect data from any user, including children. The app is safe for all ages.
